2nd-4th Amendment

1. Describe one argument for and one argument against gun control. What is your opinion on the issue? Some may say that it is good to have a gun in your home because they want to protect them self encase something should happen. And I think that is fine because something may happen and they want to keep there family protected but I also think it's bad because some people can get hurt if a gun is in the wrong hands.

2. Do you think it is fair to force people to open their homes to soldiers during wartime? Why or why not? At that time they had to open up there homes to soldiers. I think that good because they are our soldiers and they are fighting for our country and that is the least we could do for them. But I don't think it's far that they can just walk in and say I am living here. so it is good and a bad thing.

3. Describe a situation in which the police might be able to obtain a warrant to search a house or a building. If they believe that someone (or some people) are involved in a criminal case and they have enough evidence to search there house.

The 1st amendment

Give a speech before a large gathering of people and express opinions about the president's abilities. That is freedom of speech so they can do that because they are protected.

Write a letter for the editorial page of a newspaper in which you criticize a state legislator.

They are expressing there feels and telling them nicely of what they can do to be better.

Post your opinion on your blog about an issue being discussed at a local school board meeting. That is freedom of speech as long has it doesn't put people down or cause a fight.

The first amendment is important to me because without the first amendment i wouldn't get to have these things, freedoms of religion, speech and the press, assembly, and petition. People can practice the religion of their choice. And we Use those things every day and Every one should get those right we use them every day.
